M'hudi Wine Shiraz 2024

The grapes are harvested from vineyards with soils that are mainly decomposed granite and glenrosa. The vines are in natural balance, giving a low yield of 7 tons per hectare to enhance fruit complexity.

Tasting Notes: This modern day Shiraz is a fine example of a wine made from vineyards grown under Dry land Conditions. As is the case when using small berries, this wine shows a voluptuous bouquet and a rich finish. The nose is spicy with hint of white pepper, cloves, fresh tobacco and violets. The palate shows tones of mulberries, cherries and fynbos, while the structure is broad with delicate tannins and a fresh finish. Drink this wine now or mature for up to 12 years and beyond.

Food Pairing: Pair with likes of matured blue cheese, flame grilled steaks, beef casserole or blueberry cheesecake.
